Summary
Join Nelnet as an IT Software Engineer Intern to enhance and support web-based applications within a dynamic technology-focused environment. You'll gain meaningful experience collaborating with technology experts while developing coding skills and participating in agile project cycles.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze, design, code, test, and maintain complex internal and external web-based applications while collaborating with technology experts. Participate in standup meetings, sprints, and contribute meaningfully to team projects aligned with business goals.
Skills & Tools: Required: General knowledge of SDLC, programming languages, and familiarity with Node.js, REST APIs, and AWS. Desired: Problem-solving abilities, agile development experience, detail orientation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in IT-related field including software development or computer science. Preferred: Prior experience in creating and deploying software through internships, class projects, or personal projects.
