Summary

The Field Partnership Manager, New Business will develop new K-12 school partnerships in PA/OH/WV, identifying acquisition opportunities and increasing Edmentum's market share in districts not currently using their programs.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and close new sales opportunities through networking and cold calling, navigate complex sales processes with multiple decision makers, deliver strategic presentations, and maintain accurate CRM tracking and territory business development plans.
Skills & Tools: Strong solution selling and presentation abilities, proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications, exceptional communication and time management, and demonstrated ability to influence high-level decision makers in competitive sales environments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with 5-7 years of field sales experience (preferably remote-based) and a minimum of 3 years in solution sales, along with strong business acumen and knowledge of K-12 funding options.
Location: Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia; ideally PA or OH based; extensive travel required within territory
Compensation: $95,000 – $100,000/year

Job Description

WHAT IS THE POSITION:

The Field Partnership Manager, New Business will be responsible for developing new business in K-12 schools partners within a defined geographic territory (PA, OH, WV). Ideally, they will live in PA or OH. The Partnership Manager will be responsible for territory development, generating new sales and business opportunities, and increasing Edmentum’s market share in the territory in districts that do not use Edmentum programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Identify and develop new acquisition sales opportunities within assigned territory through networking and cold calling efforts to meet/exceed assigned quota

- Responsible for defining prospects, setting appointments, and closing beneficial sales within a defined territory.

- Effectively navigates multiple steps in the sales process with multiple decision makers demonstrating the ability to influence high level decision makers

- Maintains proficiency in Edmentum programs and services and appropriately positions Edmentum solutions against the competition.

- Accurately assess and analyze customer needs and identify appropriate solutions.

- Prepare and deliver strategic sales presentations to small and large groups

- Responsible for the creation of a strategic business development plan that outlines the level of activity needed to meet territory objectives

- Stays current and informed in federal, state and local funding options.

- Maintain accurate information and activity tracking in CRM (Salesforce.com)

- Manage travel and expense budgets

- Responsible for fulfilling and maintaining Request for Proposals (RFPs).

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process.

- Engage in self-development and training, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of Edmentum programs and services

-Prepare accurate forecasts for territory

-Ability to travel extensively in the defined territory (customer meetings, conferences, Edmentum events).

- Demonstrated history of success in a competitive selling environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree

- 5 - 7 years of demonstrated experience in field sales (preferable working from a remote office)

- Minimum of 3 years of solution sales experience

- Strong business acumen managing to bottom line profitability

- Exceptional time management, oral and written communication skills

- Ability to influence sales process through effective presentations and solution selling

- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

- Proficiency in a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM); Salesforce.com preferred

-Experience using a Sales Engagement Platform like Outreach or Highspot
