Job Description

Sydney | Full-time | Hybrid – 2–3 days in our Sydney, Leichhardt office

What you will love about this role:

At 3P Learning, our award-winning products - Mathletics, Reading Eggs, Mathseeds and Writing Legends - reach millions of students and families across the globe. Behind every page a parent lands on, every digital asset, every trial they start, and every subscription they commit to, is our team of designers and builders.

As our Digital Designer (B2C), you'll sit within the Brand & Creative Studio, reporting to the Digital Design Team Lead. Your canvas is the web: the marketing pages, landing pages, email journeys and product-adjacent experiences that bring families to Reading Eggs and the wider B2C portfolio. You'll design in Figma, build in Contentful, and write clean HTML and CSS - turning campaign briefs and lifecycle plans into responsive, accessible, converting digital experiences.

This isn't a one-off-pages role. You'll be contributing to and drawing from a shared component library and design system, working closely with regional marketing, lifecycle, growth and product teams to ensure parents everywhere get a coherent experience across our B2C Portfolio.

Based in Sydney, we work hybrid with a minimum of two days in the office each week.

What you will do:

  • Design and build scalable, responsive marketing pages, landing pages and digital assets across the B2C portfolio, with Reading Eggs as the primary focus - producing wireframes, prototypes and UI concepts in Figma to test design intent before build.
  • Build and publish pages in Contentful using approved components and templates, maintaining existing pages for accuracy, performance and relevance.
  • Build front-end work in clean HTML and CSS where templates and components don't cover the need, contributing new components back to the library.
  • Design for Parent Experience product work across the parent UI, onboarding, dashboard and bookstore, working with stakeholders and developers from concept through to completion.
  • Review, refine and finish AI-assisted ideations and developer-produced front-end files so they ship on-brand, accessible and consistent with the product UI.
  • Contribute to the design, documentation and upkeep of the B2C component library, templates and shared design patterns - actively reusing or adapting existing components rather than building from scratch.
  • Apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards across all design and build work; optimise for performance, SEO fundamentals and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Design against B2C funnel priorities of registration, trial activation and early retention; design and support A/B and multivariate tests; and use analytics and heat maps to identify friction points and iterate based on evidence.
  • Leverage AI workflows to deliver at pace across templated and componentised work, bringing genuine curiosity to emerging tools and techniques within brand and quality guardrails.

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years' experience designing and building responsive websites, landing pages and digital marketing assets, ideally in a consumer or subscription environment.
  • Relevant qualification in Digital Design, Web Design or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience, with strong hands-on HTML5 and CSS3 skills (JavaScript or React advantageous); Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud; Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager; Heat Mapping and A/B testing tools (PostHog exposure advantageous); Jira, Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Experience contributing to a design system or component library, and building pages in a CMS; headless CMS experience (Contentful or similar) is a strong advantage.
  • A portfolio demonstrating both design quality and shipped, working web experiences; education, subscription or ecommerce experience is advantageous.
  • A strong eye for layout, typography, hierarchy and detail - producing work that is on-brand, contemporary and appropriate to a family audience.
  • A conversion mindset: you understand the customer journey, design against measurable outcomes, and are willing to let data override personal preference.
  • Experience applying WCAG accessibility standards in production work, and using A/B testing and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Comfortable working in components and patterns rather than one-off pages, with the ability to document decisions so others can apply them consistently.
  • Confident questioning the rationale behind incoming briefs, proposing alternatives and raising concerns early and constructively.
  • AI fluency: you leverage AI workflows confidently for pace and quality, and are genuinely curious about emerging tools, testing and adopting new workflows while protecting brand and quality standards.

Why you'll love working at 3P Learning:

At 3P Learning, you'll be part of a dynamic ASX-listed company with global reach, but still your ideas will be heard, your contributions will be visible, and your impact real.

You'll design and build the digital experiences that bring families to Reading Eggs - our largest B2C product - across several regions, and help shape a refreshed design system within a multi-disciplinary creative studio.

You'll also enjoy 3 extra 'purpose days' of paid leave each year to dedicate to what matters most to you - whether that's volunteering, personal projects, or simply recharging. 3P-ers also enjoy complimentary access to all our learning products.

You'll make a meaningful difference to the educational technology industry, helping deliver world-class digital experiences that families love, in a dedicated, collaborative and supportive environment where everyone shares a common mission.
