Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, communications, technical writing, instructional design, or related field (or 5 years equivalent experience) plus 2 years in instructional design, technical writing, publishing, or journalism. Ability to apply complex technical and multi-jurisdictional requirements to product development.

Content producers are responsible for the development of new and revised print and electronic materials in our real estate product line, including printed and web-delivered products. Key Responsibilities: Work with production, authors, technical personnel, and instructional designers to establish and maintain development and production schedules, as well as meet all technical specifications for delivery on our systems. (End Result: Manage individual projects to ensure they are completed on-time to meet market needs.) Work with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to write, organize, and edit course curriculum and related materials including web-delivered courses, textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, tests, forms, surveys, and instructional guides. (End Result: Manage individual projects to ensure they are completed accurately and meet the original product scope and on-time.) Adapt course content learning assets for delivery in online and print platforms. (End Result: Manage individual projects to ensure they are completed accurately and meet the original product scope.) Assist in selecting the best method of product design for our real estate products and in researching data to ensure the most accurate and updated content is incorporated in the product line. Proactively identify problems and resolutions and seek out new procedures and technologies that improve quality of materials and efficiency of processes. (End Result: Lean processes, maintain customer-focus, and bringing products faster to market.) For full-time positions, Kaplan has three salary grades. This position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,647. The specific compensation offered will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, and market data.
