Skills & Tools: Deep expertise in process manufacturing industry operations and regulatory requirements, strong knowledge of ERP applications and complementary technologies, and proficiency in product strategy, business model development, and go-to-market execution. Excellent cross-functional collaboration, market analysis, and sales enablement capabilities required.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a product manager, solutions manager, or offering manager in enterprise software or consulting services, with substantial background in the process manufacturing industry. Advanced understanding of ERP-centric business applications, industry workflows, and competitive landscape dynamics.

- Market research: Gathering insights from internal and external sources to help deliver the offering to the market
- Business model: Determining the business model and client business value with the practice director
- Solution requirements: Defining the service requirements and working across disciplines to build the overall solution that is attractive to a target market
- Operational and business metrics: Being accountable for key metrics such as pipeline, revenue, and growth and customer acquisition goals
- Offering portfolio: Maintaining the solutions/services roadmap
- Go-to-market: Define routes to market, delivery capability, resource capacity, and supporting ecosystems. Engage with marketing on the marketing plan, channels, and content.
- Services/Solutions Planning and Development:
- Identify industry trends, customer challenges, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies impacting the market.
- Develop solution frameworks, reference architectures, use cases, and industry accelerators that align with customer needs.
- Collaborate with practice leaders, delivery teams, publishers, and strategic partners to build comprehensive solutions.
- Work with practice directors and product marketing managers to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for vertical-specific solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics.
- Define and prioritize services features and roadmaps based on market needs and business goals.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for new offerings within the process manufacturing vertical, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
- Solution Management:
- Own the life cycle from ideation through post-delivery for process manufacturing solutions including the positioning and evolution of Net at Work's process manufacturing solution portfolio.
- Ensure alignment between customer requirements, solution capabilities, and delivery readiness.
- Define industry-specific business processes, workflows, and best practices that enhance solution value.
- Work closely with implementation and consulting teams to ensure solutions can be effectively delivered and scaled.
- Continuously assess solution effectiveness through customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
- Manage service features, ensuring that capabilities and delivery efforts are aligned with a practice director’s strategic priorities and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive analyses to identify differentiators and inform positioning strategies.
- Marketing and Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for vertical solutions.
- Create and deliver training materials, sales tools, and work with marketing to develop collateral to support the sales team.
- Work with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns, including webinars, whitepapers, and case studies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead generation and nurturing strategies specific to the process manufacturing vertical.
- Participate in the development of pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Customer and Partner Engagement:
- Engage/survey key customers, industry analysts and partners to gather feedback and validate service offerings.
- Develop and manage customer advisory boards to ensure continuous feedback and engagement.
- Provide support at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as requested by the Practice Director.
- Act as a vertical industry subject matter expert for the vertical, providing insights and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics related to vertical offerings, including sales performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates and reports to practice directors and executive management and leadership on market trends, sales performance, and strategic vertical initiatives.
- Adjust vertical services strategies based on data-driven insights and feedback.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to monitor the health and performance of vertical solutions and market traction.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in offering management, services and/or product management, marketing, or business development. Strong knowledge of the process manufacturing industry is a must.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching process manufacturing business application solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the ERP business application space (CRM, and HRMS are a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of technology solutions and their application within specific industries.
- Knowledge of the B2B technology industry for the SMB market and partner channels is a plus.
- Strong planning and execution skills with attention to detail.
- Organization skills and management of social media content calendars.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders.
