Role Snapshot

The Global Territory & Quota Planning Manager oversees the development and management of sales territories and quota allocation across global markets for Cengage. This role is critical to ensuring equitable territory design and achievable quota targets that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain global territory plans, analyze market data to establish realistic quotas, and collaborate with regional sales leadership to optimize territory structure. Monitor territory performance metrics and recommend adjustments to support sales team effectiveness and organizational growth objectives.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in data analysis, territory planning methodologies, and sales operations tools; strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and influence cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in sales operations, territory planning, or quota management, preferably in a global or matrix organization. Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or related field required.
