Inside Account Executive responsible for selling Savvas Learning Company's supplemental, acceleration, and assessment educational products to school districts in the Western United States. The role focuses on building sales pipelines, managing customer relationships, and delivering virtual product presentations.

Key Responsibilities: Build and manage sales pipeline, conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and customers, answer customer questions, and collaborate with Account Managers to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets. Work with school districts to understand their needs for RTI and ELL solutions while implementing strategic sales plans.
Skills & Tools: Strong sales acumen with persuasive negotiation, presentation, and leadership abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office; understanding of inside and field sales best practices and Advanced Placement market dynamics.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Education (or equivalent experience); minimum 3 years sales experience and/or combination of teaching and edtech experience preferred. Master's degree in Business, Education, Technology, or postgraduate qualification preferred.

Job Description

Savvas Learning Company is seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive that will directly sell the company’s suite of Supplemental, Acceleration, and Assessment products and services in the Western part of the United States. Currently, the primary solutions of focus for this team are iLit, SuccessMaker, SIOP, Words Their Way, Palabras a su Paso, D’Nealian Handwriting, Savvas Essentials of Foundational Reading, and the Savvas Math and Literacy Screeners and Diagnostic Assessments. This account executive will be responsible for building a sales pipeline and relationships, along with working on comprehensive RTI and ELL solutions for school districts, and presenting products vitually.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic sales market(s) plans to reach sales targets.
    ·
  • Answer potential customer questions and follow-up questions.
    ·
  • Implement and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives to achieve annual target.
    ·
  • Work with customers to better understand client needs and goals.
    ·
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Partners to increase the performance of the business.
    ·
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospects and customers to showcase features, benefits, and value.

    Requirements:
    ·
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Education or equivalent experience.
    ·
  • Master’s in Business, Education, Technology or Postgraduate qualification preferred.
    ·
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in sales preferred and/or a combination of teaching and/or experience in a similar role in edtech.
    ·
  • In-depth knowledge of inside and field sales and marketing best practices.
    ·
  • Strong understanding of the Advanced Placement markets and competitors.
    ·
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented.
    ·
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership, collaboration, and presentation skills.
    ·
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    ·
  • Salesforce.com knowledge.
    ·
  • IT proficiency e.g. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
