Role Snapshot

The Recruiting Manager leads all recruiting initiatives and manages full life-cycle recruiting efforts at Swank K-12, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with company talent objectives. This role is critical for building and maintaining the organization's talent pipeline and employer brand.

Key Responsibilities: Conducts full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding; designs and maintains recruitment processes; collaborates with hiring managers on staffing needs; manages recruitment channels and external agencies; oversees the internship program; and develops employer branding and social media recruitment strategies.
Skills & Tools: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with proven ability to build strong relationships and take initiative. Proficiency with ATS systems, job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed), and preferably UKG Ready, along with strong customer service focus and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required with 5+ years of HR experience including full-lifecycle executive recruiting. Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and function effectively in a team environment.
Location: Hybrid - St. Louis, MO
Compensation: $65K–$95K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

Position Summary

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all recruiting initiatives and managing full life-cycle recruiting efforts. In addition, the Recruiting Manager coordinates the recruitment process through the selection and negotiation of various sources, ensures consistency and equitability in the recruitment process, meeting all Company objectives and legal guidelines, and maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to anticipate talent needs.

This is a St. Louis, MO based position and is primarily in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts full-life cycle recruiting through sourcing, headhunting, qualifying and interviewing candidates
  • Designs, develops and maintains the recruitment process in the organization
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and proactively provide guidance on best recruitment practices
  • Responsible for choosing the optimum recruitment channels and recruitment sources
  • Explores market best practices in recruitment and implements appropriate best practices in the organization
  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal management team and external recruitment agencies
  • Oversees the onboarding process including: sending offer letters, creating onboarding schedules and collaborating with hiring managers on necessary training, to ensure new hires are adequately educated on Swank's benefits and other pertinent information
  • Sets social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
  • Enhances company's employer brand through effective communication and branding strategies to attract top talent
  • Builds strong relationships with University Partners, and serves as a representative for Swank at career fairs, various on-campus events, and speaking engagements
  • Manages Swank’s summer internship program, including recruiting qualified interns, coordinating mentor and manager partnerships, and collaborating closely with hiring managers to oversee intern projects and responsibilities are monitored and completed. Conduct mid-term assessments and schedule events for interns and mentors. Provides and ensures a positive work experience
  • Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant
  • Other projects as assigned

  • 5+ years of HR experience including full-lifecycle executive recruiting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and work in a team environment with a strong customer service focus required
  • Experience with ATS system and job boards including LinkedIn, Indeed
  • UKG Ready experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
