Sales Manager for XCEL Testing Solutions (Colibri Group Brand), a leading online insurance education provider. The role involves driving sales performance through daily prospecting, customer engagement, and product demonstrations to qualify and convert insurance licensing exam candidates.

Key Responsibilities: Schedule and conduct sales meetings with prospects via phone or in-person to identify opportunities and present products; complete daily outbound calling, follow up on all inbound and marketing-sourced leads within 24 hours, and maintain accurate CRM records and customer account information.
Skills & Tools: Strong technical/software aptitude with proficiency in sales management tools and CRM systems; excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy across virtual and in-person interactions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) required with 5+ years of successful experience in sales and account management. Previous experience in insurance, education, or SaaS sales preferred.
Location: Remote - 1 Remote
Compensation: $85K–$130K/yr (estimated)

Duties and Responsibilities: Employee is expected to make every effort to optimize his/her sales performance and engage in activity on a daily basis that will facilitate this goal. Employee shall be assigned those duties reasonably

accorded to and expected of a sales representative employed by the Company. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, required duties include the following, as may be amended from time to time by the Company in its sole and absolute discretion:

• Scheduling appointments and meeting existing customers in order to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers and to send a follow up email the next day addressing outstanding/follow up questions.

• Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically (either on site or by virtual call) on daily basis.

• Provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite or virtually.

• Liaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing, service, and latest product-release launches.

• Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, and cold-calling.

• Complete outbound prospect calling daily.

• Follow-up on ALL inbound leads and marketing-sourced leads within 24 hours of receipt in CRM.

• Follow-up calls for current prospects including continuously updating all prospects on Company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.

• Enhancing up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings.

• Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner.

• Effectively attending conferences and trade shows, where applicable.

• Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.

• Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining accurate expense accounts.

• Updating and maintaining customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales.

• Providing product quotes to customers as needed.

• Aggressively following up on business opportunities.

• Regular (weekly or biweekly) 1:1 with your direct manager, and periodic pipeline updates with senior management.

What You'll Need to Succeed::
  • Minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree
  • Strong technical/software aptitude
  • 5+ years successful experience in sales and account management.
