As a Group Curriculum Manager, you will manage a content development team responsible for creating and reviewing curriculum materials for Amplify Science, grades K-8. This management role requires curriculum expertise as well as people leadership and operational oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality educational content delivery across curriculum programs. You Will... Manage content development team and operations - directly manage a team of Curriculum Content Specialists and Copy Editors, providing day-to-day leadership, performance management, professional development, and resource coordination to ensure effective content production across multiple curriculum areas. Oversee multi-curriculum content development - coordinate content creation across internal and external teams across grade levels, ensuring consistent quality standards, alignment with academic requirements, and timely delivery of comprehensive instructional materials that meet diverse educational needs. Drive content quality and consistency standards - establish and maintain content development processes, review procedures, and quality benchmarks that ensure all educational materials meet organizational standards and educational effectiveness requirements across all curriculum programs. Coordinate project delivery and resource management - manage content development timelines, allocate team resources across multiple curriculum projects, and ensure successful delivery of educational materials within scope and deadline requirements while maintaining quality standards. Develop team capabilities and performance - provide coaching and mentoring to content specialists, conduct performance evaluations, identify skill development opportunities, and foster professional growth while building team expertise across diverse curriculum areas. Facilitate collaboration and content integration - work with curriculum teams, subject matter experts, and educational stakeholders to ensure seamless content alignment, coordinate cross-curricular initiatives, and maintain consistency across all educational programs and materials. Monitor content effectiveness and improvement - track content performance through educator feedback and student outcome data, identify areas for enhancement, and implement improvements that increase educational impact and instructional effectiveness. How You Work... You drive consistent results across diverse content areas - ensuring quality and effectiveness standards are maintained across various subjects and grade levels while adapting management approaches to meet specific curriculum requirements and team needs. What We're Looking For... 8+ years of progressive science curriculum content development experience, including 3-5 years of increasing management responsibility with documented success leading content teams, managing multiple curriculum projects, and delivering high-quality educational materials across diverse subject areas. Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field required. Master's degree is highly preferred. Proven people management and team leadership experience - demonstrated success managing science content development professionals, conducting performance evaluations, providing coaching and development, and building collaborative team environments that drive content excellence. Multi-curriculum project management expertise - proven ability to coordinate content development across various subject areas and grade levels, manage competing priorities and timelines, and ensure consistent quality and delivery standards. Content development operations experience - hands-on understanding of curriculum development processes, quality assurance procedures, and content review workflows with ability to optimize team productivity and content effectiveness. Strong communication and collaboration skills - exceptional ability to work with diverse stakeholders, facilitate team meetings, provide clear feedback and direction, and maintain effective working relationships across curriculum programs. Educational standards and assessment knowledge - thorough understanding of academic standards, curriculum alignment requirements, and assessment integration with ability to ensure content meets educational objectives and compliance requirements. Team development and coaching abilities - experience mentoring curriculum professionals, identifying skill gaps, providing professional development opportunities, and building team capabilities across diverse content areas. Data analysis and improvement focus - ability to analyze content effectiveness data, gather stakeholder feedback, and implement targeted improvements that enhance educational outcomes and team performance. What we offer: Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $155,000 - $170,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
