Summary

Mid-level Contract Recruiter (6-9 month position) supporting full-cycle recruiting across Go-To-Market, Corporate Functions, Product, and Engineering teams at Apptegy, an edtech company transforming school communications.

Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple requisitions simultaneously, partner with hiring managers on role requirements and priorities, source and screen candidates, conduct recruiter screens, coordinate interviews, and maintain accurate data in Greenhouse ATS.
Skills & Tools: Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate assessment abilities; excellent communication and stakeholder management; proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred); ability to prioritize and work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Qualifications: 3-4 years of recruiting experience in-house or hybrid environments, with experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously. Preferred experience recruiting for SaaS, tech, or education-focused organizations and supporting multiple functions with varying hiring profiles.
Location: Remote US
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $55,000 – $75,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

The Role

Apptegy is seeking a mid-level Contract Recruiter to support hiring needs for 6-9 months. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Talent and partner closely with hiring managers across the organization to manage full-cycle recruiting across Go-To-Market, Corporate Functions, Product, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling organization. As a lean Talent team, this role requires flexibility, strong prioritization skills, and comfort working in ambiguity.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles across GTM, Corporate Functions, Product, and Engineering

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and evolving hiring priorities

  • Source, screen, and engage candidates using a variety of recruiting channels

  • Conduct recruiter screens and coordinate interview processes

  • Ensure a positive, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and requisition data in Greenhouse

  • Support Talent team initiatives, reporting, and process improvements as needed

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Talent and broader People team to meet hiring goals

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 to 4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in-house or in a hybrid environment

  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate assessment skills

  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, with Greenhouse experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently while navigating changing priorities and ambiguity
