Job Description: Position Summary The E-Commerce Specialist plays a critical support role within the Category Management team, with a primary focus on data integrity, content execution, and information management across digital platforms. This role ensures accurate, timely, and optimized product data to support online merchandising, drive sales performance, and enable informed decision-making. This role also owns the coordination and execution of the Monthly New Release program and supports major seasonal initiatives, including facilitating web updates tied to catalog launches. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, analytically driven, and comfortable managing large data sets while collaborating cross-functionally. Key Responsibilities Data Management Maintain and manage product data across e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency (e.g., pricing, product descriptions, attributes, imagery, and categorization) Execute product launches, updates, and discontinuations in alignment with category timelines and business priorities Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve issues impacting product visibility or performance Manage book pack component updates to ensure optimal e-commerce customer experience Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and systems related to e-commerce data management Special Program Management Own and manage the Monthly New Release program, including maintaining all associated calendars, timelines, and product data to ensure on-time and accurate launches Facilitate and manage web updates to support major catalog launches (January and July), ensuring alignment between catalog assortment and online execution Support execution of the E-Statement program through accurate and timely proofing, with the opportunity to evolve into ownership of the program and drive strategic growth initiatives over time Data Analysis and Strategic Support Analyze e-commerce performance data (sales, conversion, traffic, SKU performance) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Translate data into clear, actionable insights and provide initial strategic recommendations to support Category Management decisions Build and maintain reporting tools and synthesize findings across data sources to inform assortment planning, promotions, and digital optimization Cross-Functional Partnership Coordinate cross-functional inputs (Category Management, Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain) to support new product setup, catalog launches, and release readiness Facilitate on-going relationship management with the E-Comm team ensuring seamless flow of communication Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, digital, supply chain, and creative) to ensure alignment on product setup and online execution Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and systems related to e-commerce data management Qualifications Qualifications Bachelorโs degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2โ4 years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, category management, or data-driven support roles Working knowledge of HTML Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, customer-focused product content Experience with e-commerce platforms, PIM systems, or ERP tools preferred Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Familiarity with digital merchandising principles and SEO best practices Success Profile Highly detail-oriented and process-driven Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and cross-functional inputs across recurring programs and seasonal launches Comfortable working behind the scenes to enable team success Curious and continuously seeking opportunities to improve data accuracy and efficiency The salary range for this position is $64,000 to $70,000 annually.
