Summary
Curriculum Specialist for Literacy focused on designing and developing K-5 reading programs and instructional content for Learning A-Z's educational platform. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to create equitable, accessible curriculum that aligns with literacy research and instructional best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Write and enhance instructional content for K-5 reading curriculum while maintaining detailed documentation of design and development processes. Collaborate with vendors and teams on content production, conduct literature reviews on literacy trends, and participate in product research using student data and educator feedback.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in curriculum design, K-5 literacy instruction, and educational technology with proficiency in content management systems and AI-enabled tools. Strong written and oral communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail with knowledge of the science of reading, multilingual language development, and culturally responsive teaching.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Education or related field required with 3+ years of relevant work experience, including at least one year writing instructional content for education-technology curriculum programs. Must have experience providing literacy instruction in K-5 school settings and demonstrate knowledge of reading science and language development.
Location: Remote - United States
Compensation: $70K–$90K/yr
