Job Description

Savvas Learning Company seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join our team in supporting the Learning Services Sales Organization across designated states and markets throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will partner closely with Account Executives and serve as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and Customer Service, ensuring seamless communication, operational efficiency, and exceptional support for both internal and external customers.

Success in this role means approaching each task with keen attention to detail while maintaining the ability to understand the bigger picture and how the details contribute to the larger goal. Specialists are self-directed when needed and demonstrate the thoughtfulness and maturity to recognize when to take the initiative and when to consult with the team. Additionally, candidates who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a demanding work environment will be successful.

This position is expected to work in the Irving, TX office with the potential to convert to a hybrid role with onsite responsibilities after a successful period of training.

Responsibilities:

Quote Creation: Create or manipulate quotes using SalesForce and Microsoft Excel adhering to all finance, business, and system policies
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of state adoption programs, policies, and processes to effectively support sales initiatives and customer needs.
Create spreadsheets and other documentation to accurately represent the proposed structure of a complex deal; provide clear and complete directions to order processing to reduce any booking delays
Project Management: Manage quotes, sample orders, folder creation, or other types of projects for your sales teams to ensure that deadlines and high-quality demands are met
Respond to customer phone calls and emails; act as an agent of the Sales team to facilitate requests or solve escalated issues, liaison with internal teams including Customer Service to ensure that purchase orders and quotes are efficiently processed and resolve any issues
Marketing folder and binder creation: Create, assemble, package, and ship marketing and product folders and binders to support sales campaigns for our sales markets. Involves printing, making copies, assembly, packing, and shipping.
Review escalated scenarios or issues, use systems and other resources to identify the scope of the issue, determine solutions, and provide direction to internal groups to resolve
Compile informational analysis and database projects as needed
Demonstrate teamwork, dedication, and a commitment to excellence
Interact with all levels of management; communicate effectively via email and verbally
Create spreadsheets and other documentation to accurately represent the proposed structure of a complex deal; provide clear and complete directions to order processing to reduce any booking delays

Qualifications:

2-3 years of sales operations/admin-related experience preferred.

Salesforce, Google Suite, SAP, and Oracle experience are highly preferred.
Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Outstanding communication skills including verbal, written, and active listening.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to set priorities, meet critical deadlines, juggle projects, and produce high-quality and accurate work under time constraints.
A strong sense of urgency in undertaking the execution of tasks, and an impressive ability to think ahead, be proactive, and show initiative.
Able to solve problems through thorough research and analytical skills.
Learn, develop and maintain sales processes and workflows.
Must be detailed oriented both in your work and communication.
Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing at least 35 lbs.
