Summary

Proficient in Microsoft Office, quick to learn new platforms and tools, and preferably experienced with AI or automation tools.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education or related field with 3+ years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, or academic standards alignment. Master's degree is a plus.
Location: Remote work from the United States
Compensation: $60,000 – $85,000/year

What You’ll Do

We’re hiring a Standards & Alignments Specialist (Humanities)to join our collaborative and mission-driven team to help ensure Edmentum’s curriculum aligns to the evolving expectations of state and national standards

In this role, you will:

  • Research academic standards and conduct detailed content reviews to ensure accurate alignment and identify instructional gaps
  • Generate high-quality documentation that supports internal teams, field operations, and state requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional product teams to integrate alignment best practices into curriculum design
  • Track changes in education standards and help communicate their impact on product development
  • Contribute to strategic bids and state submissions through timely, accurate alignment support
  • Use internal tools and systems to complete alignment tagging and documentation processes

Who You Are

  • You bring 3+ years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, or academic standards alignment
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (a master’s is a plus)
  • You have a strong grasp of state and national academic standards and how they apply to curriculum
  • You have a keen ability to interpret state standards and thoughtfully break them down, ensuring every aspect is addressed in content that is developed.
  • You’re a skilled researcher and clear, concise writer with sharp attention to detail
  • You take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work that supports educators and learners
  • You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to shared goals
  • You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new platforms and tools
  • You thrive in a remote work environment and know how to manage your time effectively
  • You can juggle multiple priorities and keep projects on track
  • You’re curious, adaptable, and eager to learn
