Summary

The Senior Psychometrician will lead the design, development, and validation of assessment instruments and measurement frameworks. This role is critical to ensuring Learning A-Z's educational products maintain rigorous psychometric standards and educational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop assessments, conduct psychometric analyses, validate measurement instruments, and provide technical guidance on testing methodologies. Collaborate with product and curriculum teams to ensure assessments accurately measure student learning outcomes.
Skills & Tools: Expert knowledge of psychometric theory, statistical analysis, and assessment design with proficiency in relevant software tools. Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-specialist audiences and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Psychometrics, Educational Measurement, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years of professional experience in assessment development. Demonstrated expertise in validity and reliability studies, item analysis, and standardized testing practices.
