Summary
Coursera is seeking a Vice President of Consumer Category Management to establish and lead the global category strategy function with full P&L ownership. This executive will drive revenue growth and profitability while building a high-performing team and establishing category management as a durable organizational capability.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute Coursera's category management strategy, including establishing the vision and operating model for the function. Optimize category revenue performance, manage key partner relationships, and drive cross-functional collaboration across content, product, and marketing.
Skills & Tools: Strong experience in consumer internet or ecommerce sectors with demonstrated ability to own P&L and drive revenue growth through collaboration. Data-driven decision-making capabilities, comfort in global environments, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Qualifications: Extensive background in consumer-focused business sectors with direct P&L ownership and a record of achieving significant revenue growth. MBA preferred, with experience in global environments and demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and team building.
Location: United States (Remote, with compatible timezone overlap required)
Compensation: $320,000/year
